Baseball Shines in 10-3 Win Against Houston-Victoria

VICTORIA, TEXAS (April 2, 2024) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) baseball team raced past the University of Houston-Victoria (UHV) 10-3 in a nonconference game on Tuesday. The Saints improve to 18-19 overall while the Jaguars fall to 24-10.

Assistant Coach Ryan Chapa said, "We did a great job of playing our brand of baseball tonight. The offense did a really good job of sticking to their approach and staying disciplined to get good pitches to hit. We also had a great effort from a lot of guys with the pitching and defense as well. I'm extremely proud of the team and very excited to keep this rolling into the weekend."

The Saints were 27-17 against the Jaguars prior to the game.
