Saints Women Finish in Third Place at Continental Athletic Conference Championships

SAN ANTONIO (May 2, 2023) - The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's golf team took third place out of seven teams at the Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) Championships after the final round of play. OLLU hosted the conference event at the Golf Club of Texas.

South Carolina Beaufort took home the trophy with a total of 308/302=610. The University of British Columbia earned second place at 312/308=620. The Saints were third at 325/307=632, followed by the University of Houston-Victoria at 344/323=667 and Iowa Wesleyan University at 375/360=735. Maddie Minyard represented Crowley Ridge College and shot 103/114=217. Taylor Phillips and Halie Cruz played for the University of the Southwest. Phillips shot 83/89=172 and Halie Cruz finished at 113/115=228. 

Ceci Lattuada and Annabelle Reyna both finished in the top five. Lattuada shot 75/73=148 for third place and Reyna claimed fourth place at 80/73=153. Alahnna Limones took 11th place with a second round of 89. Madelyn Miller placed 13th at 81/84=165 and Miliani Georges finished in the 15th spot at 89/77=166.
