Saints Women's Tennis Defeats Texarkana in Tournament First Round
NEW ORLEANS (April 27, 2023) - The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's tennis team beat Texas A&M University-Texarkana (TAMUT) 7-0 in the first round of the NAIA Unaffiliated Group Tournament on Thursday. The Saints advance to the semifinals with the victory.
Head Coach Dave Watts said, "The ladies did a great job today. We had a 4-3 win against Texarkana earlier in the season. We didn't want to underestimate them this time around. For them to go out and win 7-0 today shows how hard they have worked this season. We will get some rest and prepare for LSU-Alexandria tomorrow, who is the No. 3-ranked team in the NAIA."
