Saints Men's Cross-Country Earn All-Academic from USTFCCCA

NEW ORLEANS (Feb. 1, 2024) – The Men’s All-Academic Athletes and All-Academic Teams for the 2023 NAIA Cross-Country season were announced on Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Two student athletes – Kruz Malesich and Sebastian Moreno – and the team from Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) received these honors.

The field will prepare to race on Friday, Nov. 17, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. PT at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Championship Course in Vancouver, Wash.

WACO, TEXAS (Oct. 11, 2023) – Kruz Malesich of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) raced to the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week award for Oct. 2-8, and OLLU's Sanai Robinson picked up her fourth award of the season as the RRAC Women's Runner of the Week for the same dates. This is the fifth set of conference awards for the 2023 cross country season.

Saints Men Open 2023 Season at UIW Twilight

SAN ANTONIO (Sept. 2, 2023) – The Our Lady of the Lake University men’s cross-country team opened its 2023 season at the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) XC Twilight on Friday evening. The Saints placed sixth out of five NCAA D1 schools and one D3 school. UIW came in first with 15 points, followed by Texas State University with 67 points, Baylor University with 78 points, Trinity University (D3) with 83 points, University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley with 151 points and OLLU with 153 points.
