SAN ANTONIO (May 15, 2024) - The NAIA No. 1-ranked Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) softball team blanked Hope International University (HIU) 2-0 in the championship game of the San Antonio Bracket in the NAIA Opening Round on Wednesday. The Saints improve to 53-3 and earn a trip to a second consecutive NAIA World Series. The Saints did not allow a run in all three contests of the tournament.

SAN ANTONIO (May 15, 2024) – Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) defeated Hope International University 1-0 to advance to the finals of the NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Round. The top-seed Saints faced second-seed Hope with Cassandra Valdez scoring the only run and pitching a gem to help secure the win. The game was preceded by fourth seed Cottey College beating third seed Evangel University in an elimination game. Cottey then faced Hope and lost 9-0 to end its season. The Saints will now face Hope in the championship match. OLLU must win one game against Hope to win the title, while Hope must win two games to claim the title.

SAN ANTONIO (May 14, 2024) - The No. 1-ranked Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) softball squad downed Hope International University (HIU) 1-0 in the semifinals of the San Antonio Bracket in the NAIA Opening Round. The Saints advance to the championship game and are now 52-3 on the season. The Royals drop to 36-16 overall.

SAN ANTONIO (May 14, 2024) – Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) won the second game of the NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Round that began on Monday. The top-seed Saints faced fourth-seed Cottey College and won 4-0 with Cassandra Valdez pitching a one-hitter. The game was preceded by the matchup between second-seed Hope International University and third-seed Evangel University that saw Hope winning 5-0. The Saints will now face Hope at 2:30 p.m., while Evangel will take on Cottey at noon.

SAN ANTONIO (May 13, 2024) – The No. 1-ranked Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) softball team downed Cottey College (CC) 4-0 in their first game in the San Antonio Bracket of the NAIA Opening Round. The Saints are the No. 1 seed while the Comets are No. 4. The bracket also includes No. 2 seed Hope International University (HIU) and No. 3 seed Evangel University. The Saints improve to 51-3 on the season while the Comets drop to 31-20.

SAN ANTONIO (May 11, 2024) – Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) is busy this weekend getting everything ready for the NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Round that begins on Monday. The top seed Saints will face fourth seed Cottey College on the first day of the tournament at 6:30 p.m. The game is preceded by the matchup between second seed Hope International University and third seed Evangel University at 4 p.m. The three-day tournament is being held at the St. Mary’s University Softball Field located less than three miles from OLLU’s campus.

The 11th annual event takes place May 13-15 at 10 host cities. The San Antonio Bracket will be held at St. Mary's University.

(May 6, 2024) - The NAIA No. 1-ranked Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) softball team eliminated Texas A&M University-Texarkana (TAMUT) and lost to LSU-Alexandria (LSUA) at the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Championship Tournament on Monday. LSUA won the tournament after defeating the Saints in the championship game. The Saints are now 50-3 on the season.

The Saints are the No. 1 seed while the Generals are the No. 2 seed. The Saints 45-game winning streak was snapped with the loss.

SAN ANTONIO (May 4, 2024) - The No. 1-ranked Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) softball squad will battle LSU-Alexandria (LSUA) in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Championship Tournament Semifinals tomorrow. The Generals are the No. 2 seed while the Saints are the No. 1 seed. The winner of the 4 p.m. matchup will advance to the championship on Monday. The losing team remains in the tournament to play in an elimination game.
