KANSAS CITY, MO. (March 20, 2024) – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Men's Basketball Scholar-Athletes on Wednesday. Selected from Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) are Daniel Helterhoff, Kyonte Holder, Paul Minjoth and Xavier Purnell.
Marcus Thompson Named OLLU Men's Basketball Head Coach

SAN ANTONIO (March 7, 2024)—Marcus Thompson has been named Men’s Basketball Head Coach at Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU). Thompson returned to OLLU as an assistant coach in 2021 and has been chosen as the Saints’ fifth head coach since the program’s inaugural season in 2009. He will officially start on April 1.
Men's Basketball Concludes Season in Loss to LSU-Shreveport

ALEXANDRIA, LA. (March 1, 2024) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men’s basketball team ended the 2023-2024 season with an 84-71 loss to LSU-Shreveport (LSUS) in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Quarterfinals. The Saints were the No. 5 seed, and the Pilots are the four seed. OLLU finishes the season with a 14-15 overall record and 11-11 mark in the RRAC.

NEW ORLEANS (Feb. 24, 2024) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men’s basketball squad struggled against a good offensive performance by Xavier University of Louisiana (XULA) on Saturday. The Saints lost 99-72 to move to 13-14 overall and 10-11 in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC). The Gold Rush jump to 21-5 overall and 16-4 in the RRAC.

The Saints jump to 13-12 overall and 10-9 in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC). The Wildcats drop to 5-19 overall and 3-15 in conference. The Saints have won four straight games.

SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 15, 2024) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men’s basketball team rallied in the second half to beat LSU-Alexandria (LSUA) 85-80 on Thursday. The Saints improve to 12-12 overall and 9-9 in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC). The Generals drop to 17-6 overall and 15-3 in the RRAC. The victory snapped LSU-Alexandria’s 12-game winning streak.
Development Basketball Claims Star Conference Championship

SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 12, 2024) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men’s development basketball team won the Development Star Conference Tournament championship game over Schreiner University (SU) 85-73 on Monday night. The Saints defeated San Antonio College in overtime on Sunday to advance to the championship. OLLU finishes the season at 17-8 overall.
